Security

Security is so many things to so many people, you say security to one person and their first thoughts maybe a 6 foot 6 muscle man quite often found outside night clubs. Yet to another person security means a dirty big dog, and another person peace of mind.
In the world we live in, today's security is increasing and faster than you know. The Australian Government is about to increase the security in airports, and in the city or town where you live, you will see more and more cameras going up to watch our streets and roads.
Taxis and all public transport are putting in more and more security cameras and most shopping centres have a security system, cameras and security guards.
"When you ask someone: "What does a security system do?" the reply maybe: stop people from breaking into your home or business! well this is partly true, security systems will help to deter the would be intruder. You can add 2 or 3 smoke detectors and that will help to lower the loss of property and goods in a fire as well as human life. Adding an emergency device to your security system may also help save a life.
Large businesses have been using proximity readers to enter a building, now we can put a proximity reader in your home or small business. Proximity readers and/or remotes are the easiest way to arm/disarm a security system.
There are a lot of people out there who believe having a local alarm/smoke detector is good; well, it's not bad, it is better than nothing, especially smoke detection. To have an alarm system monitored is better- why?
- Because you will get to know about why your alarm is going off and then you can take the correct step to find out more, about what may/ may not be happening at your home or business.
- Now, if your premises is being robbed then a security guard or police can come around and sort it out, at no risk to you, your family or your staff.
- If an alarm has been going off with no evidence of a break in then it could be a sensor not working and then a security technician can be notified to fix it.
When you have monitoring you can stipulated up to four people to be contacted when an alarm sounds by the monitoring station. If you have a fire your smoke detector will sound an alarm which will activate the security system which will notify the monitoring station upon which they will ring you. If you are asleep at the time you should have woken with the first alarm, then you can proceed with evacuating everyone on the premises, when you answer the phone you can dismiss the alarm or confirm the fire whereby the monitoring station will notify the fire station to attend.
